Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi, seasoned human rights activist, Femi Falana, two 2019 Presidential aspirants; Tope Fasua and Fela Durotoye, amongst several others, will be attending the 6th edition of the Annual Economics' Students Conference (AESC) in Obafemi Awolowo University.

The Students' Conference, which is one of the largest conferences in West Africa, will take place by 8:00am on Wednesday and Thursday (November 7 and 8) at the Oduduwa hall of the school.

According to the President of the Economics departmental association, Gbolagun Ezekiel, the conference is free for all students as it has been beneficial to all OAU students irrespective of their course of study over the years


"They are assured to learn several needful knowledge and what we all need to know for life after school. This is the 6th edition and we have come with more juice and sauce for all."

"Apart from the loads of knowledge which will be received from the likes of Dr Kayode Fayemi, the Executive governor of Ekiti State, Fela Durotoye, Segun Ogunsanya and several other big names in Nigeria, all students will be going home with something ranging from sourvenirs, internships, gift items, cash and so on."

"We have been sponsored by several companies and these companies are coming massively to the event. Students will be really wowed. We also will be feeding all students adequately."


"Our 2 day conference on Wednesday and Thursday will be memorable to all," Mr. Ezekiel concluded.
